No one is talking about what I think is a key distinction to the parents- if they were planning on having another kid. If they already knew they wanted another child, then giving their son a chance at life at a relatively low risk to their daughter makes sense; it's when they start thinking *only* about having a child to save their son that it gets tricky. If they were good parents, if it was the latter, they committed their whole hearts into acting their entire lives like it was the former.

Last year, I was with someone for 2 years, we got cats, apartment, everything together, it was perfect. Xmas comes around and we go to see our families. It was both of our first time seeing them. The day after i met her mom she tragically passed away. A few months later her dad passed away and she was only 21. She went crazy and became abusive and a shell of the person i once knew. No matter what i did i couldnt comfort her or help her through it. Even though we were split up, we still had to live together because she was on the lease and both of our financial situations didnt allow us to live separate. I still have never got comfort, therapy, or to talk to anybody about it. Im emotionally numb to pretty much everything and go through the same work, sleep, cycle to get through it. People just think im mad all the time because i have really bad RBF but in reality it’s the opposite. This is the first time ive opened up about it. I just hope shes healing and is doing well.
